FULL NAME: Frank Ugochukwu Edwards
DATE OF BIRTH: July 22, 1990
BIRTH PLACE: Enugu State, Nigeria
FAMILY: 5 Siblings, and mother.

Frank Edwards is the founder and owner of Rocktown records. He is celebrated internationally and is successful. But then, let's look at his story.

THE BEGINNING
We know little or nothing about Franks dad. He most a times talk about just the mother. But all I can gather is that his father was an instrumentalist too.

Frank Edwards started Playing the piano and other musical instruments from age 7. This talent exposed him to many grand stages, leading to his present career. However, he had a very sad childhood experience.
Frank recounts that he hocked in the streets of Enugu for 11 years, selling okpa. He was exposed to smoke for about 5 hours each day, poking fire for the okpa to an extent that he started developing eyes problems.

He hocked 6 days a week until on one occasion he died in the process (the story portrayed in his song ONYE). But Frank testifies that this experience has built a business oriented skill in him.

His mum has been his number 1 mentor spiritually and towards his career. Frank explains that every day after returning from selling, his mother compelled him to go to church for foundation classes. This led to his strong spiritual foundation.
Even when he made a little fortune of about 10 million from his first album, his mother asked him to give it out as a first fruit.

MUSIC CAREER

Frank Edwards songs wouldn't be popular without the influence of Pastor Chris.  Pastor Chris is known for supporting young African talents, especially music. So when Frank met him, his career took another phase.

First album - Definition


His first album "The definition" which he did it by himself in 2008, attracted him to Pastor Chris, which opened the way for his career. The album had 14 tracks.
Today Frank Edwards can boast of his own recording company, and sings with other great musicians like Sinach, Don Moen, Samsong, Buchi, etc.

Later, he released several other albums, like “Angels on the Runaway” in 2010 and “Unlimited” in 2011. Frank Edwards Nigeria has become a new label in the music industry. People can`t help but love his famous songs, like:

1.) You too dey bless me;
2.) Omema o;
3.) Mma Mma;
4.) Welcome to Zion.

STATUS
At the moment, Frank is still single but I don't know if he is still searching because he talks little about his relationship on media.
He had once dated a girl from US called Chisom. But this relationship ended in 2012 for reasons not disclosed to us.

CONCLUSION
God has a plan for everyone. Just cling to him and your destiny can never be denied.
